Collection: Cardio & Endurance

You build fitness through time and repetition, not with complicated machines. A skipping rope and three square metres of floor are enough for a workout that will truly get you breathless.

Why skipping works so well

Skipping improves your fitness, footwork, and timing all at once. That's why it's on the programme at almost every boxing and kickboxing gym. Ten minutes in intervals does more than half an hour of leisurely cycling.

Basic or Pro?

Our Speed Rope Basic has a flexible plastic cord: forgiving if you're still learning. The Pro has a steel cable with ball bearings and rotates much faster, which is what you want when you start doing double unders.

The right length

Stand with one foot in the middle of the rope and pull the handles up. They should reach approximately to your armpits. A rope that's too long will drag, a rope that's too short will force you into a hunched posture.
